‘Immense’ Watford orchestra returns with winter programme of Elgar, Borodin and Berlioz
25 November 2021
Watford’s newest orchestra, branded “immense” and “fabulous” by audience members, is returning in December with a programme of Elgar, Borodin and Berlioz.
Audentior Symphony Orchestra will perform their ‘Winter Warmers’ on December 11, after a two-year hiatus as a result of the pandemic.
The orchestra, set up by a group of young musicians in 2019, will perform Berlioz’s Roman Carnival Overture, Borodin’s Polovtsian Dances and Elgar’s Enigma Variations, in St Luke’s Church in Watford, led by legendary conductor John Brennan.
Their sell-out debut concert in December 2019 was labelled “brilliant” and “immense” by audience members, with many promising to be “lifelong supporters”, so the orchestra recommends booking tickets in advance to ensure you are not disappointed.
You can book tickets by visiting their box office.
